Ways to book
Online booking
The easiest and most cost-effective way to book your ferry tickets is via this website.
Select your route, date, and ticket type, and manage your booking with ease. You'll also have the option to add extras like reserved seating, cabins, and pet accommodations.

Please note: Vans in excess of 3m high and/or 6.5m long and those being used for commercial purposes cannot be booked online.
Telephone booking
For those who prefer personal assistance, bookings can be made by calling our customer service team. Our friendly staff can help with complex bookings, including vans, commercial vehicles, and large groups.

Operating hours are Monday to Friday 08:30-18:00, and Saturday/Sunday 09:00-18:00.
Payments are accepted via credit/debit cards over the phone.
Steam Packet Holidays
For a more personalised and comprehensive travel package, our in-house travel agency, Steam Packet Holidays, can assist with booking ferry tickets alongside accommodation across the Isle of Man, the UK, Ireland, and beyond.
We work with major holiday providers to ensure a smooth, all-inclusive travel experience.
In-person booking
If you prefer booking in person, tickets can be purchased at our terminals in Douglas, Liverpool, Heysham, Dublin, and Belfast.
Please note that while this option is available for last-minute bookings, availability may be limited during peak seasons, so booking in advance is always recommended.
Vouchers
Vouchers are available to purchase online or in person at our Ferry Travel Shop in Douglas Terminal.
Our vouchers can be redeemed via the website booking system, over the phone or when making a booking in person.
Vehicle types
For most standard cars up to 5.5m in length and 1.8m in height, simply select the "car" option when booking online or via phone. Booking online provides the best prices, and mid-week or overnight sailings offer the most savings.
If you're driving an SUV, van, or 4x4, ensure you measure your vehicle accurately to select the correct category. This is especially important during the TT period on the Liverpool route, where height restrictions apply.
For those travelling with motorhomes or campervans, select the appropriate size category when booking. Be sure to check your vehicle’s measurements and account for any additional equipment such as bike racks.
Whether you're bringing a motorcycle or bicycle, make sure to select the correct option during booking. Bicycles are boarded via the vehicle lanes and have a small additional fee.
If you're booking for commercial purposes, such as vans or trucks, contact our freight department for the appropriate rates. Trailers will also need to be specified with exact dimensions to ensure proper pricing and space allocation. Discover more

Reserved seating
Enhance your journey with our reserved seating options. The Niarbyl Lounge offers premium seating with ample leg room, a relaxed atmosphere & the opportunity for a bit of tranquility on your crossing.
Cabins
For overnight crossings on Manxman, cabins are available for single, double, or family occupancy. Early booking is recommended, as these tend to fill up quickly.
Pet travel
Pets are welcome on board in designated kennels or pet-friendly cabins. Be sure to book in advance and provide details about your pet for a comfortable journey together.
Special assistance
Passengers with mobility issues can take advantage of priority boarding, accessible cabins, and reserved seating. Contact our customer service team to arrange any special assistance you may require.
